2007 Spring Into Romance Contest

Welcome! Spring is the perfect time to get that manuscript polished and ready for submitting. What better way than with our Spring Into Romance Contest. We have a stellar line-up of editors and agents as our final round judges.

Submissions: First 30 pages, standard formatting.

Judging Form (2006 version still valid)

Fee: $25; $20 for RWASD members.

Postmark Deadline: March 12, 2007.
Alternatively, entries may be hand-delivered at the RWA San Diego meeting on March 17th, 2007.

Eligibility: Not published in book-length fiction within three years of deadline.

Top Prize: RWA San Diego chapter pin; listing on our web site.

First Round Judges: Trained or published. Every attempt will be made to assign each entry to a published judge in the first round.

Final Judges: (drum roll, please)

• Short Contemporary: Diana Ventimigilia, Silhouette Romantic Suspense and Desire
• Long Contemporary: Rebecca Soukis, Mira and Red Dress Ink
• Single Title: Kristin Doyle, Bantam Dell
• Historical: Ethan Ellenberg, Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency
• Paranormal(FF&P): Scott Eagan, Greyhaus Literary Agency
