-Kerri-Leigh Grady's manuscript HEX APPEAL finaled in the romance category of the Sandy Writing Contest sponsored by Crested Butte Friends of the Library organization. 

-New member and Cobblestone Press author Jackie Barbosa sold an erotic historical anthology to Kensington for its Aphrodisia imprint.

-Mary Galusha's manuscript SAPPHIRE SKIES finaled in the Charter Oaks Romance Writers' Golden Acorn Excellence in Writing Award for unpublished writers.

-HelenKay Dimon's YOUR MOUTH DRIVES ME CRAZY is a finalist in the Golden Quill Contest for published authors sponsored by the Phoenix Desert Rose Chapter of RWA.

-Kathryn Albright's Harlequin release, THE ANGEL AND THE OUTLAW, was named a finalist in the Wisconsin Romance Writers of America Write Touch Contest for published authors.

-RWA has announced that Jill Limber is one of this year's receipients of the prestigious RWA Service Award.  Jill is being honored for her dedication and service to the national organization.

-The Chapter bestowed the Marian Award on Jill Limber at the Monthly meeting in March.  Implemented in 2006 and named after the first recipient, Marian Jones, this award recognizes a member's dedication to the Chapter and lifetime achievement in writing.

-Kathy Krevat's manuscript, PTA Meetings Are Murder, is a finalist in Women's Fiction category of THE SHEILA contest sponsored by the Valley Forge Romance Writers Chapter.

-Kerri-Leigh Grady earned RWA's PRO designation!!  She also was named a finalist in an online contest run by the literary agency, Bookends, LLC.

-March's Member of the Month is Judy Duarte. March's Atta Girl Award went to HelenKay Dimon.
